Billing, Subscription & Refund Framework

1. Purpose
This document explains the commercial terms that govern how customers purchase, pay for, and participate in ASSIST™ offerings — currently and as the platform develops. It supplements the Terms of Service; in the event of conflict, the Terms of Service governs. Enterprise customers with individually negotiated agreements may have billing terms specific to those agreements.
2. Current and Planned Offerings
As of the effective date, ASSIST™ offers one commercial path: the Founding Tier program described in Section 7. There is currently no subscription service, no ongoing service billing, no API access, and no platform license fee in effect. Founding tiers do not constitute a purchase of the ASSIST™ platform service. They are pre-launch founding contributions with associated benefits.
Planned but not yet available: platform subscriptions (monthly/annual); ASSIST™ Revenue™ module; enterprise service agreements; partner program fees; API access.
3. Pricing
Current founding tier prices are published at poweredbyassist.com/founding-partners. All prices are in USD. Taxes may be added at checkout based on your location. Promotional pricing may be offered from time to time. Founding tier prices may change at any time; the price at the time of purchase applies to that transaction.
4. Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant). ASSIST™ does not receive, store, or process full card details. Stripe sends an automatic receipt to the email address provided at checkout. If a payment fails, the transaction is not completed. All current prices are in USD.
5. Subscriptions
ASSIST™ does not currently offer subscription billing. No automatic renewal or subscription agreement exists as of the effective date. When subscriptions launch, this Framework will be updated to document billing cycles, renewal terms, upgrade/downgrade processes, and cancellation rights. Founding tier contributions do not automatically convert into subscriptions.
6. Refunds
The ASSIST™ Refund Policy at poweredbyassist.com/legal/refund is the primary refund document. All founding tier contributions are one-time, non-refundable. Exceptions (sole discretion): duplicate charges due to technical error; unauthorized transactions with evidence; technical failure not resolved within a reasonable time; legal requirements in your jurisdiction. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction through our legal page.
7. Founding Partner Tiers
The founding tiers are one-time, non-refundable founding contributions — not purchases of a live platform service, subscriptions, or investments.
- Supporter ($1) — Recognition as an early supporter; receipt as proof of founding participation.
- Opportunity Infrastructure Blueprint™ ($10) — The founding document of ASSIST™, available immediately at poweredbyassist.com/blueprint. Read online or save as PDF.
- Early Access Member ($49) — Priority placement on the early access list when the platform opens.
- Founder Access ($99) — Founding cohort membership with intended roadmap input; personal follow-up from the ASSIST™ team.
- Design Partner Program ($499) — Intended hands-on design partner engagement; personal follow-up to schedule participation.
- Enterprise Founding Member ($2,500) — Intended priority deployment status; founding-era pricing subject to terms of individual enterprise agreement; personal follow-up within 3–5 business days.
ASSIST™ does not guarantee any specific launch timeline, and the platform may evolve during development. Founding contributions directly fund that development.
8. Chargebacks
Contact ASSIST™ through our legal page before initiating a chargeback — most issues can be resolved directly. ASSIST™ will respond to chargebacks with documentation of the transaction and applicable terms. Initiating a chargeback for a valid founding contribution may result in account suspension or termination.
9. Changes to Pricing
Founding tier prices may change at any time. When subscription billing launches, price changes for active subscribers will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email, effective at the next renewal.
